Progress Pics (2011)

These aren't exactly before/after pictures just yet so I'm calling them progress pictures. Here's what I have from 2011 when I lost 113 lbs and dropped from a size 24/26 to size 12/14.

To start off with... these are some pictures of me at or around my heaviest weight. (284 lbs)

What my mom didn't realize when she took this picture was that I was struggling sooo hard just to get the seat belt buckled so i could ride this with jett. i had to suck in soo many times before i finally got it snapped. I was so embarrased for making everyone else wait for me to get strapped in.

This winter, shortly after I began my journey..

This spring, just a few months in but feeling better already...

This summer and finally starting to notice some bigger changes...

Finally able to ride this damn ride with him! lol. I was too scared to ever try it since I knew I was too big to ride the other rides I tried to ride with him the year before.

Autumn and I'm finally out of the plus sized clothes! Also chopped off 13 inches of hair and dyed it red! It was just time for a change. :)

Thanksgiving...

My first race ever on Dec 3rd 2011, a 5k with a chip time of 36 minutes and 17 seconds.

The rest of December...

and then a few days later I got this positive test result...

This picture with my friend Jennie was taken only an hour or so after finding out the news. :)

I had a slew of different emotions at the time. I worked so hard all year long to get to where I was and I knew I would have a hard time controlling my weight gain during pregnancy. However, I love my family and wouldn't change a thing. My second child was born in late 2012 and now that I've had time to recooperate from having her and dealing with the stresses of a newborn, not to mention the holiday season falling at that same time of year, I'm so ready to continue on my journey. I want to get back down to where I was here and then eventually make it to my goal weight. I know with a little determination I can make that happen for myself in 2013. :D
