Finally got around to making a 3rd video... well for the 2nd time now... the first one was too long to upload so I had to redo it.

  1. Hi i was wondering like what are some of the things that you eat? and how many minutes do you workout each day? I'm currently trying to lose weight myself lol i'm just starting on monday my 4th week into it, so any tips or advice you have would be really helpful lol

  2. if you watch the video i made before i made this one, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryb1KwRq6ro&feature=related then you can hear all about what kind of things i eat! :)

as for working out, I try to do 30 mins of morning cardio. in the afternoon i try to do at least 30 mins of something outside like walking or bike riding or swimming, etc. but i'll try to do an hour if it's not too terribly hot out. if i have extra time i spend between 30mins to an 1:45 on the wii fit. and then after dinner i do a workout dvd thats usually about 30 minutes.

So usually I do an hour and a half or more of working out everyday. When I first started out I was only doing 30 mins a day, then worked up to an hour a day whenever i felt ready for it then added more time when i felt ready for that. Do as much as you can, but don't stretch yourself too thin. I don't have a job, its just me and my son at home all day on most days so I end up with quite a bit of free time to work out.

Any other specific questions I can help you with I am more than happy to do so! :) Thanks for reading!

  3. Thank you for the advice! haha yes i'm currently unemployed as well so i have a lot of free time this summer, i start back to college in the fall. On monday i'm starting at 40 mins of working out, i started at 30, i'm gonna do 2 weeks of 40 mins then work my way up ten more mins every 2 weeks. thank you so much for the advice though i love your blog! you're actually one of the reasons why i decided to get serious about my weight loss lol you and this book i read, and the shows mtv's i used to be fat!

  4. wow that's awesome! thank you so much, that is such a huge compliment to be able to help inspire someone else. I Used to be Fat was the show that first made me realize that I could really do this and I spent several of my first posts talking all about it and stuff haha. I am obsessed with that show. I also talked about it in my 2nd video. Marci was really helpful with givingin me some information about what she was eating and how much and what kind of exercises she does. I talk to her on facebook sometimes. She actually only lives about an hour from me. I'm thinking maybe someday when I get skinny and more social I'll have to work up the nerve to go meet her sometime. lol.

Being unemployed and having the free time will really help, do as much as you can now while its still hot outside so you sweat a lot of it off and before you start having to spend so much time indoors studying like crazy.

  5. that's so cool! i really hope you get to meet her one day! :) may i ask what other exercise dvd's you do besides the ones you talked about in your 3rd video? I'm going to try and start the jillian michaels 30 days shred tomorrow maybe, plus the 40 minutes of walking, so i'll do that in the morning and maybe the shred later in the afternoon!

  6. the only other actual dvd that i have is a 10 minute solution dvd called Dance it off & tone is up. the rest are all on my netflix instant play. there are tons of workout dvd's on there. a lot of Crunch series and a lot of 10 minute solution series. my favorite crunch one on there is ab attack and my fave 10 min one on there is kickboxing bootcamp. but i also have a ton of ones that say anything about dancing just because they sound fun. lol. i havent even tried them all yet.

as for the shred, let me warn you it is tough! i would not recommend it to a beginner. i think if i had tried to do the shred back in january i would have been very discouraged at how little i could do of it and might have been tempted to give up. however... starting it 5 months in to my journey i was still very challenged, but at the same time a lot more prepared to handle it. i am not saying dont try it, im just saying if you get overwhelmed by it at first you may want to just hold on to it and do the full 30 days straight later on in your journey. but if you try it and think you can keep up with it then by all means go for it full force! :)
